About
Welcome to "Navigating Systemic Barriers to Wealth". In this course, we will explore how systemic racism and discrimination impact wealth building for minority women and their families, and develop strategies to overcome these barriers. Wealth inequality is a critical issue that affects individuals, families, and entire communities. Systemic barriers such as discriminatory policies, lack of access to financial resources and education, and limited opportunities for entrepreneurship can all contribute to the wealth gap between different groups of people. In this course, we will examine how these systemic barriers have historically and currently affected minority women and their families. Through this course, we will work together to identify effective strategies for overcoming these barriers and building wealth. We will explore the importance of financial literacy, creating support systems, and developing an entrepreneurial mindset, as well as examine alternative financial systems and resources. Additionally, we will discuss the role of advocacy and activism in creating systemic change. By the end of this course, you will have a deeper understanding of the impact of systemic barriers on wealth building, as well as the knowledge and tools to navigate these barriers and advocate for change. I look forward to working with you throughout this journey!
